XTiP announces new marketing leadership team
The sports betting brand XTiP, part of the Gauselmann Group, restructured its marketing department at the beginning of the year. Peer Finke will coordinate marketing, retail, sponsorship, online and branding in his new position as Marketing Director and drive the strategic direction of the XTiP brand.
The graduate in business administration and trademark expert has many years of professional experience in marketing and has already been in charge of several renowned and internationally operating companies in the gaming and entertainment industry, according to Gauselmann, among others at Gameforge, Full Tilt Poker and Interwetten , Finke has been working as Head of Marketing Brand & Media for XTiP since July 2018.
Also in a new position is Patrick Schmidt as Marketing Manager for Retail & Sponsoring. The graduate in business administration has extensive experience in the national and international sports betting industry.
Since November 2016, Schmidt has been working for Merkur Sportwetten GmbH, which bundles the entire sports betting business of the Gauselmann Group, including the activities of XTiP. As assistant to the management, he has supervised numerous projects, including the commitment of footballer Lukas Podolski as XTiP brand ambassador. The 31-year-old Patrick Schmidt succeeds Konrad Pöhlmann, who, according to Gauselmann, left the company at his own request.
