The managing directors of the 16 state-owned lottery companies have chosen Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH and managing director Jürgen Häfner as their successor at their June meeting.

“We are delighted that the other companies have placed their trust in the Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH and that they will take on the additional tasks of DLTB in a committed and responsible manner ,” explains Jürgen Häfner, Managing Director of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz GmbH.

Former secretary of state Jürgen Häfner has been managing director of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz since 1 February 2014. The 58-year-old lawyer is a father of three and lives in Mainz. After training as a banker and studying law in Mainz and Tübingen, he worked as a public prosecutor in Mainz. He then moved to the state government and held various functions there.
