René Jansen new chairman of the Dutch Gaming Authority

René Jansen becomes the new chairman of the board of directors of the Gaming Authority (Ksa). The appointment will take effect on 1 October 2018. René Jansen will cooperate with mr. BCM (Bernadette) van Buchem. She will be appointed as board member and vice-chairman of the Ksa as of 15 October.

René Jansen was a member of the Executive Board of the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) from August 2015 to April 2018. In that period he was also chairman of the European Healthcare Fraud & Corruption Network, the European network for combating fraud and corruption in healthcare.

Jansen worked as a board advisor at Twynstra Gudde for his period at the NZa. He previously held several management positions with the (former) Dutch Competition Authority.

He also worked at the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs & Employment. René Jansen studied sociology at the University of Tilburg. In addition, he completed the Senior Managers in Government course at Harvard University.
